Image
Module 06: Flipped Learning - Tools and Apps for Flipped Learning As usual, before the lesson on Sunday afternoon with the lecturer, I read the required document about Flipped Learning & Tools and Apps for Flipped Learning. Although I just had a little time for this reading, I found this Module topic this week really intriguing to me. Having read the material, and joined the Discussion forum I found “What is Flipped Learning? How many types of Flipped learning are there? What kind of tools and apps that I can use in the future…?” Actually, it’s really helpful to me, it seems to open my eye about teaching activities with tools and apps. Time flies! and this module is the last one of the course Internet in Language Teaching. I am grateful for our lecturer – Ms. Lan Hường who has helped us a lot on the way to become modern teachers who are not afraid of technology, I want to say she is the one who “take our hands, open our minds” in this field of knowledge. Now, I find tha...

Reflection Week 05 - Project based Learning and Rubrics

Image
Last week I learned Module 05: Project-based Learning and Rubrics which is one of the most interesting and meaningful modules to me as through the knowledge of this module, I have found one more useful way to evaluate my students – using Rubric! During the week I had read required document sent on Canvas by my lecture – Ms Lan Hường then I joined the Discussion forum to read and discuss with my class members about the topic “Assessment, rubric and project-based learning”. Next, I joined the RubiStar to create a rubric for an oral presentation. On the class meeting session on Zoom with my lecture, I share with my group members and listen to their sharing about the applying Rubric in our teaching lessons. At last, as usual when we back to the main Zoom sharing, we had chance to listen to many amazing ideas from other groups’ moderators and the lecturer. One of the issue that I am really impressed is the validity and credibility of using Rubric to evaluate students., We are nea...

Image
In the Module 0 4 of the course, I had a chance to learn about Reading/Writing skill building and how to create a technology-enhanced lesson plan. Like other Modules before that. First, I joined canvas to read the document that was assigned by Ms. Lan Huong then I joined the Discussion platform and this week, we shared about web pages that would work for us in our class. Include the specific web address (URL) of the page, the title of the page, the target students, why we teachers think it will work, and why we think it will be useful. What is an ABCD objective that we could create to go with this page? And, here is my sharing I would like to share the website https://www.nationalgeographic.com/ which is considered one of the most famous website for any student who wants to improve English in general and English reading skill in particular. The website is documenting the wonder of our world including its beauty, mystery, and the threats it faces and inspir...
